Sarah Fraser is a NYC-based stage director specializing in opera. This summer also finds Sarah returning for a third season to Lorin Maazel’s Castleton Festival to assistant direct Verdi’s Otello. Recently, Sarah directed a double bill of Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine and Puccini’s Suor Angelica for Opera Manhattan, Amahl and the Night Visitors with Opera Kansas, and assist director Dorothy Danner on The Mikado and A Little Night Music . Sarah graduated with a M.M. in Opera Stage Directing from Florida State University, where she directed The Mikado, The Magic Flute, and the regional premiere of John Musto’s Later the Same Evening.
