Singaporean tenor, Leslie Tay, made his Carnegie Hall debut in Manon with New York Lyric Opera. He has sung with companies including Bronx Opera, OperaHub, Boston Singers Resource, Opera Company of Brooklyn, Opera Manhattan, Boston Opera Collaborative, Juventas New Music Ensemble, Harvard Early Music Society, Lowell House Opera and Singapore Lyric Opera. Leslie holds a M.M degree from the Manhattan School of Music and was a Resident Artist in Dicapo Opera’s 2009-2010 season. He earned his Graduate Performance Diploma from the Boston Conservatory and was also a Young Artist in Lorin Maazel’s 2011 Castleton Festival. He is presently a member of Tanglewood Festival Chorus, Opera on Tap and the Boston Lyric Opera chorus. Roles performed include Monostatos (The Magic Flute),Flute/Thisby (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Isacco (The Thieving Magpie), Arsameme (Xerxes), Don Basilio (The Marriage of Figaro), Tanzmeister (Ariadne auf Naxos), Pane(La Calisto) and Bobyl Bakula (The Snow Maiden).
