Jonathan Dauermann is an impassioned and increasingly in-demand performer on New York City’s operatic stages. He makes his debut with the North Shore Music Festival in the role of Grenvil, which he sang earlier this season with Regina Opera. Mr. Dauermann’s credits include the roles of Colline inLa Boheme, which he sang with both Regina Opera and Opera Amore this past season, as well as Oroveso (Norma),Don Alfonso (Cosi fan tutti), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), and Melisso in Handel’s Alcina, among others. Mr. Dauermann has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from San Francisco State University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He has also studied at the Trossingen Hochschule für Musik in Germany and has performed as a chorister throughout Germany, France, Italy, and Austria. A student of Judith Natalucci, Mr. Dauermann can next be seen in the role of Bertrand in Opera Slavica’s production of Tchaikovsky’sIolanta this August.
